After departure from your desired location, our four hour winter warmer tour will visit some of the most popular and scenic tourist attractions in the Lake District that includes an afternoon tea at a country house hotel:
Ambleside Pier
After departure we will make our way towards Ambleside and make a brief stop at Waterhead, at the head of Lake Windermere. You will be able to enjoy a short walk by Ambleside pier and enjoy the natural beauty of the largest natural lake in England.

Rydal Water
After departing from Waterhead, we make our way towards Rydal where you will enjoy the view over Rydal Water. This small lake has become very popular with visitors of Rydal Caves and those who enjoy the work and former home of William Wordsworth.

Grasmere
Arriving at Grasmere, we will make a stop at this beautiful location with peaceful lakeside walks and a historic 13th century church. Grasmere has some interesting shops as well, including the famous Grasmere Gingerbread shop.

Red Bank & Loughrigg Tarn Towards The Ferry
After our visit to Grasmere we will make our way over Red Bank pass towards Hawkshead and Far Sawrey that will lead us to a short ferry ride** towards Bowness-on-Windermere where after experiencing inspiring scenery you will be heading to a country house hotel for an afternoon tea for you to enjoy.

Afternoon Tea
We arrive at country house hotel where you will have a freshly prepared afternoon tea to look forward to consisting of a selection of open sandwiches, hot and cold dishes with freshly made cakes and the most amazing fruit scones, served with clotted cream and strawberry jam.

After the enjoyment of your afternoon tea and the relaxation you will be brought back to your desired location where your Winter Warmer tour will conclude.

* All our tours can accommodate groups up to 10 passengers. Please note that the default vehicle used on all our tours is a Volvo XC90. It can seat up to 6 passengers. Please note the two rear seats of this vehicle are designed for passengers who's height does not exceed 150 cm in length and it does require effort to get seated therefore this is ideal for groups that have kids. Please note that our default vehicle is a high platform vehicle that might not be suitable for participants with limited mobility capacity, however, an alternative low platform vehicle is available on request.
** In the event of ferry not being in operation an alternative route will be taken.
This tour is priced for a group of two participants, however for an additional fee of £35.00 per person this can be increased to a maximum capacity of 6 people.
