Explore York’s famous Christmas Market, where traditional alpine style chalets line the city centre, offering unique gifts, crafts, festive treats and delicious food and drink.
There’ll be plenty of free time to browse the shops, wander through the picturesque Shambles, enjoy lunch or perhaps stop for a warming mulled wine or hot chocolate. With its twinkling Christmas lights, historic streets and wonderful festive atmosphere, York is the perfect place to get into the Christmas spirit and tick a few presents off your shopping list!

Itinerary
Brewery Arts, 122A Highgate, Kendal, Cumbria LA9 4HE
We meet up ready to depart at 09:00. Following a rest break, we shall arrive in York at approximately 12:00. Once we have left you at a designated drop off stop, you can go and enjoy your day.
Whether you’re there for the markets, mulled wine, a shopping spree or all three, we will see you back at the drop off point at 16:45. From there we will head back to Kendal, arriving at approximately 20:00, with a rest break included.
Meeting Point
Please arrive at the Kendal pickup point 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. Your Tour The Lakes driver will meet you at the designated pickup area. Please remain at the agreed meeting point until your driver arrives.
If you have any difficulty locating your vehicle or driver, please contact Tour The Lakes for assistance. The tour returns to your original pickup area at the end of the day.
